Approach

Professional
For more than 30 years Pharos key personnel has been involved in port and maritime projects. Projects ranging from developing port area or hinterland connections, to solving nautical or operational bottlenecks, from designing terminals or free zones to reorganising port management or tender procedures. This broad experience provides the basis for the professional approach of Pharos.

Practical
The years spent within the Rotterdam Port Authority as well as the close relations with the Rotterdam port community do guarantee the practical applicability of strategies and solutions proposed by Pharos. The same practical experience forms the basis of the Pharos project approach: port development from an exploitation point of view.

Personal
Pharos advocates a personal approach. Key personnel will carry out the project. Unlike some larger consultancy firms Pharos believes that the expertise of its key personnel should not only be applied to win a contract but should be available to the client throughout the project.

The membership of the Rotterdam Maritime Group and the Inland Shipping Consultancy Bureau as well as the numerous contacts in the Rotterdam based maritime scientific and advisory network enable Pharos to mobilise the relevant experience in the whole maritime field whenever a project requires additional expertise.
